Session dates and registration deadlines
Due to program demand, registration is based on a lottery system. Lotteries take place six times a year. Forms will only be accepted after the start of the registration period. Program sessions and registration deadlines are as follows:

2011/2012 Registration Calendar
Fall #1
To attend programs: September 6 to October 29, 2011
You must submit a registration form between: August 2 to August 12, 2012

Fall #2
To attend programs:October 31 to December 23, 2011
You must submit a registration form between: September 26 to October 7, 2011

Winter
To attend programs: January 9 to February 25, 2012
You must submit a registration form between: November 28 to December 9, 2011

Spring #1
To attend programs: February 27 to April 28, 2012
You must submit a registration form between: January 23to February 3, 2012

Spring #2
To attend programs: April 30 to June 30, 2012
You must submit a registration form between: March 26to April 5, 2012

Summer
To attend programs: July 3 to August 24, 2012
You must submit a registration form between: May 28 and June 8, 2012


Registration Guidelines

Parents/caregivers wishing to sign up to attend programs may submit a registration form for inclusion in the Burlington OEYC lottery. Each parent/caregiver may submit one form per session only. Program participants are randomly selected from registration forms submitted within the registration period. Please do not submit your form until the begining of the registration period. Forms will not be accepted in advance.

Step 1: Fill in a registration form. Forms will be available beginning on the first day of the registration period. You may get a form at any Burlington OEYC location, you may email oeychelp@rockonline.ca to request a form be emailed, mailed or faxed to you, or you
can download a form.

Step 2: Choose the program you wish to register for and fill in your form. Please take special care to ensure that your form is completely filled in and all information is legible and accurate. Make sure that you have put the names of all the children who will attend program with you on your form (this includes babies if you plan to bring the baby with you to program).

Step 3: Return your form to ROCK/OEYC. Forms must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on the final day of the registration period. In-person, you may return your form to the ballot boxes provided at ROCK/OEYC sites. Alternatively, you may fax your form to (905) 632-0665, email your form to oeychelp@rockonline.ca or mail it to ROCK/OEYC, 710 Cumberland Ave, Burlington, L7N 3M9.

Step 4: Wait! Once you have submitted your form, you are entered into the lottery system. We will notify you by email if you have been placed in program. If you do not provide an email address on your registration form, you will be notified by telephone. Due to the large numbers of registrations, we can only notify you if you have been placed in a program.

Questions and Answers
Can I submit more than one form?
Only one form per parent/caregiver per session may be submitted. Please do not submit duplicate forms for each parent/caregiver. All duplicate forms are discarded.

I’m on holidays during the registration period. Can I drop my form off early?
Forms will not be accepted before the beginning of the registration period. You might want to ask a friend to drop your form off. You may also mail, fax or email your form if you are not in town during the registration period.

What if I miss the deadline?
You may submit a form after the deadline, however, forms received after the registration deadline will only be processed after those received before the deadline. Avoid disappointment and submit your form on time.

Can I call to find out if I got in?
Please do not call to inquire about the status of your form. If you have not heard from us one week after the registration period closes, then you have been waitlisted for your first choice program.
